A subscription to streaming video services like Netflix is about $100,000, but that’s on the low end for a family.
That’s a lot of money, so how much does it cost to stream Netflix on your laptop, desktop, smartphone or tablet?
The good news is, it can be quite inexpensive.
In fact, most of the time you won’t pay much for the privilege of streaming Netflix online, since most of it is paid for in-browser and is free to stream.
Here’s a quick guide to streaming Netflix on a laptop, tablet or smartphone.
1.
Install the software You’ll need an operating system to stream to your device.
Most of the popular ones, such as Windows 10, will work with your current computer.
To get the best streaming experience, we recommend you use one of the streaming applications that have been designed specifically for mobile devices.
You’ll also need an Internet connection.
Most Netflix-compatible streaming apps have a free trial period, so you can test out the app for a week or two and then try to buy it.
If you don’t get a trial, you can still use it as a trial app for several months.
There are also free Netflix-friendly Android streaming apps, such, Netflix Video, Netflix Now and Netflix Lite.
Most streaming apps also support a limited amount of videos and music.
If your computer doesn’t support these streaming apps or has limited storage, you’ll need to find a way to access the streaming videos you’re interested in. 2.
Download and install Netflix software You’re going to need to download the latest version of Netflix.
The most popular software, called Netflix Plus, costs $9.99 per month.
You can also download an older version, called Ultimate, which costs $7.99.
Netflix is available in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Sweden and Switzerland.

VPNs are free, secure, encrypted networks that let you access Netflix content and keep your browsing private.
VPN providers include: TunnelBear, CloudFlare, TunnelBear Plus, TorGuard, FreeVPN, Optik, OVH, OVPN Express, VyprVPN and several others.
