In the wake of the announcement that the NBA was moving to a unified streaming service, the NBA has announced that it is offering fans the opportunity to stream their games from a number of devices.
As part of the changeover, fans will be able to stream games on a variety of devices, including the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and the new Apple TV.
According to the league, fans can use their mobile devices to stream the games using a “streaming app” on their smartphone or tablet, as well as an Apple TV or Roku device.
While this change is good for the NBA, it also puts a lot of pressure on mobile players.
As you might expect, there are a lot more streaming devices than there are games, and that can create problems for players who are trying to stay on top of all of their content.
As it stands, it’s unclear how many players have actually signed up to stream and watch games with their devices, and while many will have been able to do so, there’s still a lot to sort through when it comes to players and their content choices.
We’ll update this post with more information as we have it.
